Playing Catch Up: Washington Trip- The DRIVE

Sooo we left for Washington at 10:00 p.m. on August 11th. Yes you read right at 10:00 p.m. We left after my rehearsal and then ran home to pack more things into our trailer that we might need. Then we drove for twenty minutes and then pulled over for 20 minutes while Travis threw up on the side of the road- good times! We drove for 2 hours that night and stopped in Snowville at Lottie Dale's Camp Site. Where we put up a tent at midnight and got our sleeping bags out and pillows. Boys were super stars and Maggie a champion. They didn't fuss and went to bed quickly. Woke up and set off on the long drive at 8:00. We watched movies, read books, played with toys, earned new toys every 300 miles, ate snacks, and had long fuel buying breaks. One break we took was the fish hatchery close to Travis' house.

Everyone was happy for the break. Travis tried to catch a fish with his bare hands . . . before we read the "Don't Touch the Fish" sign.Checking the sturgeon fish upclose. Our family over looking the sturgeon fish! Wow look at what a big family we are- four kids, really? Wow. And I look at this picture and I think seriously how can I be so blessed with four healthy wonderful kids?? Pretty spectacular.Maggie was just happy to get out of the carseat for a while. She loved kicking her feet and feeling the air on her back! She is simply fantastic!!!
Stay tuned, more on our Washington Trip coming up!

WE LOVE the fish hatchery. It is always a stop for us too! I am glad I am not the only one who stuck my arm in the pond though. PHEW.

Hope the rest of the trip was just as much fun for you guys!
