Hogman Grandparent Visit!!

*I've done a few posts so you might want to read a few posts down to get the full update on our family!*
Travis' parents and Grandma came out for the blessing of Caden and then for Isaac's birthday. It was wonderful having them here. I've really lucked out when it comes to in-laws and I love them very much! Having them here was spectacular and we had a great time and many wonderful adventures. These pictures don't do their time here justice but I can't include all those pictures!! So enjoy the few that I did!
It was wonderful that we had a parade while they were here. Kyler was running around trying to get all the candy that he could!
Our group enjoying the parade! I love how Travis and his Dad seem to be in deep conversation! I love seeing them together. They are so much a like and it's just great to have them together.
One day Grandma Wheeler, Grandma Hogman, and Grandpa Hogman went to Salt Lake and they took Kyler with them. Needless to say Kyler had the time of his life and he was thrilled with the attention and the alone time.
Kyler and Grandpa Hogman spent a lot of time together while on Temple Square and Kyler loved having him all to himself! I love these two guys! Kyler at the temple!
Us in front of where we got some famous Raspberry shakes! Man I've got some great lookin' men!
Every time Dad comes Travis challenges him to a golf game. Kyler was thrilled to go with them and ride in the cart! I wont tell you who won or by how much because Travis is still so devastated over it!
Eldon loved his Grandma Wheeler. He was often running up to her and sitting on her lap. I don't know how many books she read to him but I wouldn't be surprised if the number added up to 50! He loved her and it tickled her pink to have him get so attached!
Me and my Isaac! He's quite the Mama's boy!
Eldon exhausted and trying to get comfortable on Grandpa's head!
Travis got a day off early and we all loaded in the car and went out to Bear Lake and spent the day eating shakes and playing in the water! It was a blast! Kyler chasing after a skipping rock that Grandma Hogman found that was the best skipping rock in the world. We all took turns skipping it and found it after every time!Isaac enjoying life . . . what you can't see is that his hands are filled with sand that is to soon become his snack!
Eldon taller then Kyler, probably the only time in his life!!!
Hogman feet!
Am I lucky or what? These guys are great. What you can't see in the picture is that Isaac and Eldon are cracking each other up!
For Family HOme Evening we went swimming at our Rec Center. The boys loved swimming with their grandparents!

We love you Grandma and Grandpa Hogman and Grandma Wheeler!!! Thank you for coming and come back soon!!!!

Isaac's First Birthday!

My Isaac turned one!!! Crazy how first that year went!!! He is so great and we are so happy to have him in our home. He is great! He's a happy go-lucky fella with a quick grin! But he does have a temper- the red hair is no lie!!! His favorite toy he got. No matter what gift was in front of him, he would climb off my lap and find this one to play with.
Him delighted with all of this gifts!!
Not too sure of this.
He was hilarious because he wouldn't touch it. He just stared at it, the fork, and then each of us in turn.
Finally getting the hang of it!
Things you probably don't know about Isaac:
-He has a temper!! Whew don't get him mad!
-He is very ticklish under his chin.
-He keeps his feet curled all the time.
-He loves his brothers and thinks their hilarious.
-He is great at going up and down the stairs.
-He plays no-bones whenever you try to get him to walk.

Utah State Fair

Yeah we were able to go to the Utah State Fair!!! It was so much fun!!!
Kyler just had to put his head in one of these!
WE thought that this was funny . . . because we're Hogman's and we have three children . . .I'm sure you get it!
Eldon making his favorite face.

While waiting to Mutton Bust Kyler got to meet the Rodeo Clown.
Can't really tell but this is Kyler getting on his sheep for the Mutton Buston!! It was very thrilling!!!
Eldon was so exhausted! But we just had to go on the Ferris Wheel!
Enjoying the scene from the Ferris Wheel!
Blurry I know but we got these boys these swords and they loved them!!!
Isaac's first birthday cake- since my parents weren't going to be able to come up on his birthday we celebrated while we were down there and my mom made this fabulous cake!!!

Wow I get to eat that???

Caden- Nephew number #17

We have 17 nephews now isn't that crazy??? But Travis' sister Tavia had her third boy and we were able to travel up for his blessing. It was so great that we are close to some family so that we can share in these special occasions. It was just so great to be with family and to watch my boys play with their cousins! It was great!!
THe boys loved jumping on the tramp together. They loved playing together!! Kyler cried and cried when we left because he was "going to miss my cousins!!"
All of us that was able to travel for the occasion- Grandma and Grandpa Hogman, Kyler, Tavia (the mother), Caden, David (the father), Brennan, Isaac, Travis, Junior, Eldon, Me, and Grandma Wheeler.
Us with Caden on his Blessing Day . . . please disregard my knee highs that you can see.
Travis and Caden
We also got to see our friends Michelle, Shawn, and AnnaLynn. Shawn just got home from Korea and so it was so great to see them. They were on their way to move near Boise and who knows when we can see them again. It was great seeing them! We love those guys!

An Airplane, A Button, A Candy, and A Fish or two!!

Our themed day was Airplanes!!! It was perfect because our local small airport was having a show. So we went and enjoyed some time watching the airplanes come in and do tricks. It was fun!
Kyler sitting in an airplane!
My little Isaac . . . it seems he's possing like this in every picture we get of him!
Boys watching the planes come in.
Me and Eldon enjoying the festivities.
My two big boys!!! I like it when they like each other! Trying out the life flight - hopefully this is the only time they'll get to be in there!!!
Kyler's first day of preschool. Here he is in front of the school! He walked in and announced to everyone that "I'm Kyler and I'm four." Didn't even look back.
My grown-up 4 year old!
Eli, Aiden, and Kyler enjoying the fabulous Evanston Labor Day Parade!
Travis, Kent a.k.a Bishop, and Isaac enjoying themselves.
Katie was great to help Eldon get all his candy this year. He learned pretty soon that if he just held his bag, candy would be just given to him.
Enjoying the parade. Kyler was so happy that we watched it with his friend Aiden this year!
Just to show you the big deal the Fish Catch is! It's a giant inflatable pool that the city fills with trout and then the kids try to catch their own fish. Then they get to keep it! So guess what we had for dinner that night!
Kyler trying to get his fish.
Eldon wanted nothing to do with the fish! But of course I made him get close enough for a picture.
Kyler with his catch.

Hope you guys had a great LABOR DAY weekend too!!
