Where we live we have two pools at our disposal. And Kyler is a swimmer! We have so enjoyed just randomly going over to the swimming pools to swim. Currently the heater in the swimming pool is broken. Though the average man would decide swimming in that condition ridiculous, the Hogman men are above average! They sit in the slightly warmer hot tub and then when things seem to be a little dull they run over to the pool jump in and then jump back into the hot tub. This literally takes Kyler's breath away but is his favorite thing to do. Mama watches lovingly by a nearby chair!

A Piece of Humble Pie
Well as most of you are aware we are moving to Wyoming, and I have been a regular Laman and Lemuel about it. I know that it is a great opportunity for Travis but I haven't been very cheerful about the move itself. Well in church today we were discussing the talk by Elder Uchtdorf "Have We Not Reason to Rejoice". As the lesson progressed and some women offered comments of the darkest hours of their lives, I tried to swallow the very big lump of humble pie that was taking form in my throat. As I realized how easy my life has been in comparison and how much I really do have reason to rejoice. Therefore I have learned my lesson and will be completely grateful for this opportunity. And if I'm not please bring it to my attention!!
As Elder Uchtdorf said "This is a joyful religion, one of hope, strength, and deliverance."

Super Kyler to the Rescue!
After a very stressful morning, Kyler quickly came to the rescue! I was very stressed with packing and being overwhelmed with all the relocation stuff. As I was cleaning my kitchen Kyler just keep getting in my way! After getting after him a few times I realized how ridiculous I was being! And instead of shooing him out, I invited him to help me. He helped me take out the things in the fridge so that I could clean it, talked to me on the counter while I washed the dishes, and handed me things when I asked him to. Then we made cookies together and he was thrilled with the chance to lick the beaters! The evening ended with a picnic in the living room, eating pizza, and watching Cinderella. He difinately made things brighter, while Papa had to work long after regular hours. I guess it really is true, the small and simple things make the difference!
