Hogman Visit Part 1
Travis' mom was able to come the day that Maggie was born. In fact she walked into the hospital right as I started pushing. She met Maggie after she'd been alive for 15 minutes. So it was special- she'd never seen any of our kids that young.
While here she took the boys on many adventures. It made them exhausted! And they would constantly come home like this:
One day she took the boys down to the Bear River and they threw rocks in . . . Eldon insisted that his rocks be the big ones!
And of course they visited the park

When Maggie first came home Isaac often found his way into our room in the middle of the night. He was kind of having a hard time adjusting and this was his way of getting us to himself. But finally we had to put an end to it. One night he came into Travis and Travis told him he needed to go back to bed. In the morning we found him in Maggie's room. He was fast asleep:
Kyler still had his classes at the Elementary to help prepare him for the upcoming school year. Here he is writing his name on his name tag:
On the Saturday before Mother's Day, May 7th to be precise, we decided to take a road trip to Odgen and check out the children's museum there. It was amazing and we took a bazillion pictures, so here are a few:

It was Maggie's first long car drive and day trip. She was a super star. Though they didn't have a nursing room there, we got the experience to nurse in the bathroom- the museum was kind enough to bring in a chair and put it in the biggest stall . . . I hope we didn't catch any diseases.

And of course one of the main attractions in Evanston is Murdock's when they have the baby chicks come in. So that had to be an outing too!
Hmmm . . . I might have to invest in one of these!
Hogman Visit Part 2
We had a good time spending time together at the house. But when things got a little slow Grandma always knew how to make it more interesting.
While playing outside Isaac, our ball boy, collected every single ball in our small yard. He had quite the collection.
Isaac loves his sister . . . a little too much at times. But I thought that was a precious moment caught.
In preparation for all the family that was coming to stay with us, we decided to mop the floors. In order to make it more exciting I had all the boys get in their swimming suits (thank you Crystal for this idea) and let them go at it. It was brilliant! They loved it and my floor as well as the table legs got clean.
Kyler learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. And frankly I was disappointed! I had always imagined the MormanAd experience- you know the training wheels get taken off and the father holds onto the seat, the child falls down a few times, and the father wipes the tears away- all of course happening to corny 80's music in the background. Well none of that happened! The wheels came off and we barely had time to turn the camera's one to catch him racing down the street. So proud of him!
All the kids loved having Grandma there!
Grandpa got in late on Friday, May 13th. But this is a picture of him holding Maggie the first time.
Maggie and I are already in ca-hoots trying to talk Travis into going to Disneyland.
On Monday before Grandma and Grandpa Hogman, and Tavia and her family had to go back home, we all went to Ogden. While there some of us were able to do I Fly. It's an indoor skydiving experience.
Instructor, Tavia, Grandpa Hogman, Travis. Then Brennan, Junior, and Kyler. We were pretty impressed with these little guys. They weren't very excited to go at first and were pretty scared- heck I would be too. But they did it and they did great!!! We thought they were the bees knees.
Then Tavia and her family went there way back to Rexburg, we had just a few more minutes to share with Grandma and Grandpa before they left. So we headed for a park just to play for a little while longer.

It is always so great to have family around. Though this time I probably was a basket case with all my emotions being all over the place afte having a baby. But it was nice to have them here. And as always it makes my heart happy to see Travis with his side of the family. He misses them more then he would like to let on and so to see him so happy makes me sooo happy! We definitely need more Hogman time in our lives.

Maggie's Special Day
Maggie's blessing day was marvelous! She wore the dress that I was blessed in.
Her necklace that was a gift from Grandma and Grandpa Hogman.
The socks my mother made and the shoes that I wore when I was blessed.
Wearing the bracelet that my mother made and the ring that I wore on my blessing day.
The wonderful men that was in the cirlce. From left to right; Bishop Williams, my brother Steve, brother-in-law David, Brother Holmes, Matt Williams, my father Cornell Porter, Travis, Maggie, Travis' father Craig Hogman, Brother Kennedy, and Brother Dennis.
Our family! It makes me so happy!
Yes there are my children. All four of them!! Being themselves- Kyler responsible, Isaac happy, Maggie content, and Eldon . . .
I love this! It melts my heart.
Oh Maggie with her Mama and Mountain Man Papa.
Travis' sister Tavia, husband David, and boys Brennan, Junior, and Caden.
Maggie with her Grandma and Grandpa Porter
Maggie with her Grandma and Grandpa Hogman.
My brother Steve and his wife Vashti and boy James.
The two Porter Grandchildren to be born in the same year- James was born in March. So fun that at least one of my children will have a Porter cousin their same age!
My Aunt Debbie (whom every one in my ward thought was my mother) and my cousin Kim.
After the busy day we decided to also try to do those hand mold thingy. Yeah my face says it all with that experience!
It was such a great day! Maggie was wonderful. She didn't hardly fuss the whole day. She did wonderfully! Family, friends, food- my three favorite "f's". But the spirit was so strong during her blessing. It was humbling to know that she is ours forever! And also so powerful to know that my husband has the power of the priesthood. He holds it worthily and was able to bless our little girl. It is awe inspiring.
