On June 26th Eldon turned 4!!! Wow! I can't even believe it. So here is the fantastic things we did that day:
Breakfast choice- Scrambled Eggs, Chocolate Milk, and Ridiculously Large Sausages
After breakfast he got to open the present from Kyler and Isaac...a few episodes of Ninjago...have you seen it? It's with lego figures and they loved that show when they saw it on our adventure to Salt Lake in May.Lunch was Macaroni and Cheese with Hot Dogs. Then it was party time. He wanted to go to a water park for his birthday party. Since it was a friend year...friend bday party year, I said "Hey why don't we build your own Water park for your birthday!" So we did. He decided what refreshments he wanted served; cookies, watermelon, grapes, popcorn, water, and olives.
Gave out bubble wands as the party favor.
And the fun began. There was a water gun, sponges, and those water squirter thingy....
Water Balloon target
Pools
Slip N' Slide
Sprinklers (Picture not provided) and adorable children
No he's not telling how old he is...or wishes to be but how many olives he is eating. And I am pretty sure that he is the only one he ate the olives...all of them.
Papa showed up and got in on the fun
Totally fun party!!!! Great friends and sun shine and lots of wind! I think he had a blast. Might be the best party I've thrown to date. Dinner choice: PIZZA!!! So we ordered some pizza, went and got it and their computers were down and so we got it for FREE!!! What??? Birthday miracle!!! Then opened presents.
Look at his happy face...ignore Isaac's head that is in the way. But I just loved his face! So happy to have gotten a remote control helicopter.
Kyler took a picture of some of the gifts that he got from his friends...because I'm not quite sure when he opened those presents. He would just randomly come running around with a new toy in his hand while at the party.
His brownie cake...ok still not fantastic at the cake decorating thing...don't judge. But he wanted brownies with a spider on it. So here it is...and did you notice the Charlotte like message in the web? Oh yeah look at that 4!
He blew the candles out before we even finished singing.
Here is what Eldon had to say about himself on his 4th birthday:
Favorite Animal: Cheetah and T-Rex
Wants to grow up to be: an Acrobat
Favorite Color: Green
Favorite thing to do: Play Animals
Best Friend: All of Kyler's Best Friends
Favorite thing to eat: Cake
Movie: Spiderman and Star Wars- both of which I don't think he's seen
Favorite Book: Anything Superhero or Dinosaur
Favorite Snack: Pizza
Things I love about him:
He loves, loves, loves olives
He is very OCD about a few things. Like when he hears a word he likes, he'll repeat it over and over and over and over. And he has to color things completely, no white left. Or when he finds something that fascinates him, he keeps with it for a long time.
He is my best eater- he'll try new things and like them most of the time.
He is very stubborn.
He is very ...what is the word....sensitive. When he gets his feelings hurt is usually when he acts out.
He loves bugs and wants to keep all of them as his pets.
He likes to be alone. Especially when we are in a new place with new people. We went to a family reunion and kept loosing Eldon. We'd always find him alone, playing in some dirt or watching bugs. He likes to be alone, he feels more comfortable that way.
Really into Dinosaurs right now.
He is great! He seriously cracks me up with the things that he comes up with. He is a joy.
Also we did this a few days after his birthday, we took him to open up a bank account:
He took in his piggy bank. It wasn't as fun as it was with Kyler. Because they counted out all the coins with him, but with Eldon they just put it in the coin counter. But he opened his account with $46.72. He was super happy about it...but sad that they didn't fill up his piggy bank.
